Defining Details uses the BEST equipment and most professional-grade products available today, from heavy-duty machine polishers for removing most defects in your vehicle's finish, to Optimum and Meguiars compounds, polishes, sealants and waxes for that perfect showcar shine. Defining Details provides all materials required for the detail to happen at your location of choice - including the water! The only thing you will need to provide is an electrical outlet should you choose a package that includes machine polishing. An indoor or nicely shaded space is ideal, however Defining Details can provide a tent cover for working in sunlight if required.


All pricing detailed below includes Defining Details travelling to your location of choice for the service (within GTA, Niagara regions). You never have to fit into our schedule; we will fit into yours! Also included in each package is expert advice on how to care for your vehicle’s finish between appointments.

Standard Auto Care Packages

Bronze Package: Starting at $80
(Approx 2 hours)

  • Hand washed and dried
  • Wheels and tires are cleaned
  • Professional Grade Carnauba Wax applied and removed by hand
  • Black exterior trim is dressed
  • Tires are dressed
  • Windows are cleaned

Silver Package: Starting at $160
(Approx 4 hours)
includes all of the above plus:

  • Interior basic detail - vacuum, interior panels cleaned and dressed
  • Exterior black trim is dressed with ‘back-to-black’ long lasting dressing
  • Wheels are sealed and protected

Gold Package: Starting at $240
(Approx 6 hours)
includes all of the above plus:

  • Claybar decontamination—removes tar, road grime, tree sap and other surface contaminants not removed by a simple wash
  • Single stage high-speed machine polishing, using a mildly abrasive polish to remove minor swirls, cobwebbing and oxidation


Note: This package is NOT intended to remove medium to heavy swirling, oxidation or isolated scratches. This package is ideal for most lighter colored vehicles, or darker colored vehicles that are less than 6 months old.

Premium Auto Care Packages

The German: Starting at $400
(Approx 10 hours)
includes Gold Package services plus:

  • Two stage high-speed machine polishing; 1st stage using compound cutting polish to remove most defects, scratches and swirls from clearcoat; 2nd stage using finishing polish for a perfect mirror shine
  • Acrylic Glaze applied via polisher, removed by hand
  • Leather conditioning if applicable
  • Engine clean and dress

The Italian: Starting at $800
(Approx 15-20hours)
includes everything listed in the German package, plus:

  • Multi-stage machine polishing; 1st stage compound polishing for removal of severe paint defects and swirls; 2nd stage with mildly abrasive polish for removing any hazing or marring left by the 1st stage compounding; 3rd stage with a finishing polish for the perfect mirror shine
  • Wetsanding if required
  • Paint chip touch-ups
  • Showcar Glaze applied by hand, removed by hand (in between the sealant and wax steps)
  • Wheel polishing
  • Wheel sealant
  • Engine cleaning and dressing
  • Full interior extraction, removing most stains and soil-spots
